How to Play
Bring one student to the front of the class and have them sit in a seat facing away from the board.
Inform the class that the student at the front has the easy job because the pressure is on the class to give great clues, not on the student at the front.
Go to the table of contents and select a word.
Show the class the words that they cannot say and the mystery word. Make sure to reinforce that they cannot say any part of the mystery word, they cannot use any of the words that you cannot say, and they cannot say things such as “rhymes with.” They have to use real-world, school, or science examples.
Set the timer. Once you start the timer, begin to call on students who raise their hands.
Keep going until the student at the front is able to guess the word or until the timer runs out.
